Terminal Information : Completed in 1991, Cruise Terminal 5 became Port Canaveral's first mega cruise terminal, designed to accommodate 3,000 passengers. The two-story triangular terminal boasts a 30-foot high atrium filled with lush tropical vegetation, including full-size living trees and three cascading waterfalls. The two-story design controls the flow of passengers, with embarking passengers traveling up and through the glass-enclosed second-floor lounge, complete with a view of water in every direction. Disembarking passengers, luggage and ship's provisions progress through the downstairs areas. U.S. Customs maintains a separate, secure facility on the lower floor for baggage processing.
Carnival Cruise Lines' Carnival Fantasy utilizes Cruise Terminal 5 on Thursdays and Sundays. |

Terminal Information : Cruise Terminal 8, located in the West Turning Basin between cruise terminals 5 and 9/10, is the first terminal built to a cruise line's specifications.
The $27 million Disney Cruise Lines terminal has a 90-foot high glass tower. Two escalators carry guests to the second floor where they step out onto a massive 13,000 square-foot terrazzo map of Florida's East Coast and the Bahamas.
Some of the terminal's features include a play area, a cafe, and original murals depicting the Disney Cruise Line experience in a scrapbook fashion.
Cruise Terminal 8 is the exclusive home of Disney Cruise Lines' first two ships, the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder. |

Terminal Information : Completed in 1996, Cruise Terminal 9/10 was Port Canaveral's second ultra modern terminal built to accommodate more than 3,500 passengers. Located next to Cruise Terminal 8, Cruise Terminal 9/10 is one structure designed to accommodate two medium ships or one ship up to 130,000 gross registered tons. The three-tiered passenger loading tower includes an elevator and four escalators and features a hydraulic gangway system adjustable to the various heights of almost all of today's cruise ships. |
